Hi all
I have a 1985 bayliner bowrider, ai will need to replace the deck and stringers
not to sure on how to do this.
But hey I only gave 300. for the boat, It has a volvo AQ125B, inboard/outboard, runs good and strong
Sorry let me get to the point.
I started cutting the floor out found that the stringers were bad, very bad.
can anyone tell me how and in what order i should go about this
can i remove the stringers, while the boat is on the trailer.
I a very new to this and am very lost.
Thanks for you time and help --I hope

Johnny welcome to iboats . I cant help you with your work ahead other than to suggest using the search function and searching deck and stringers. You will most likely find more info with that one search than you will be able to take in in a week of reading . There are many many peaple here who have done just what you and I are headed into and all kinds of good info here just a search away :D.

Here's my thread on restoring my Capri cuddy

Being a bowrider I do believe you can keep it on the trailer but if you remove the cap, which I'm fairly sure you'll want to do with a bowrider, you need to support the hull to keep it from folding outwards. Being that I didn't have to do this, seek someone else's advice first :D
