newb with a couple ???

I just bought a 1989 nissan nx102 boat with a 1989 ns 9.9b motor
after searching I cannot find any info on this boat at all.
I did find the thread about the 15 hp throttle cam .
this motor is like new, only 20 hours can i do this mod.
and any info on the boat would be great.

You have a Dynous Hypalon inflatable made by Toyo Tire for Nissan. Did you have a specific question?

Just change the 9.9 cam with the one for the 15 and that's it.

I feel like a idiot please help
As i tried to swap the cams the two bolts holding the cam hit the engine
before they are completely unscrewed.am I doing something wrong?

Disconnect the little link arm from the coil plate so that you can turn the coil plate enough to get clearance.
