High dome vs. low dome

hi all
i'm in the process of rebuilt the 115 Hp inline 6 ... just wonder about the piston that i ordered, i just realized it'a a high dome 2 rings instead of a low dome 3 rings in the engine right now.... is that going to affect the performance of the outboard? do i have to return it and get a low dome?
Any thoughts? thanks all

They don't make the 3 ring pistons anymore. All the replacements are 2 ring and supposedly match the weight of the old 3 ring. As for high vs. low dome I will let someone more knowledgeable take that question.

any thooughs? i need to know so i could exchange the parts (which is the pain the neck in the process)
