I have a 2002 mercruiser 6.2. I can be cruisin across the lake and it will just die. No sputter, nothing. I just looses power. Sometimes it will crank right back and sometimes it take 30 mins. Anyone?
Sounds like an electrical problem, but yeah, run through the fuel system and make sure you have solid sparks on all plugs. If it just dies like you turned the key, it could be bad solenoids/ignition switch.
