gas hose question

i have a 1972 evinrude 25 horse. I see a hose under the cowel is torn! but both ends fit different size (niples)?? haha sorry not a mechanical guy! he had a wire tie on one end, and then he ended up tearring it on the other... too bad we can't draw pictures on here... someone would know what im talking about immediatly if so! anyone know where i can get a diagram of such a motor? so then i can relate to the part and it's location... to ask a real question? thanks!

On my 1984 70 hp Johnsons, the hose coming out of the fuel pump is 5/16" fuel line. That runs in to a $16 T-connection that reduces down to 5/32" hose. There are two additional Ts in the 5/32" line that are like $2 each. My guess is that the previous owner didn't want to shell out the extra $$ (or just couldn't find the part) to get the original part.
