the Alternator isn't missing I already pulled it out. It is rusted over pretty bad and will need to be replaced. Already found some marine ones online just working on the starter now to see if it needs to be replaced. I can't seem to get this rusted screw out.

Update (if anyone cares).

Decided to put the boat project on hold till the monsoon season is over and temperature drops some. Highs this week vary from 104-110 and since this boat is going to take a while to get running I'm going to work on it when the temp is better(to me that is mid to low 90s). Going to focus on doing some more research on the boat along with working more so I can put more into the boat when the weather permits.

But where are ya? I am in SW Florida, and it's hot and muggy, but nowhere near 104..Thank Goodness

Kev how do you know what the Temp is in South Fl. You been watching the weather channel in the hotel room :D:D.

I live in Phoenix, AZ. Unbearable is over 110 for me. Hottest i've ever been in was 123 in the early 90's the tar on the streets where melting if you walked or drove on it.
