I had to go with tree because thats what I though it was until Bob pointed out otherwise in another thread about a year or so ago.

I have not done a movie yet that required a boat to go boom...... I imagine the clean-up would be tough!

It looked like a tree to me, until now,,, but what do I know, 1/2 blind, 1/2deaf, at least that's what my wife thinks anyway

Well this would have been over the top and it is not my work

or an antique like this ...... I use a new style electic one same results..

I guess I can see the confusion.......

Here is a Maple tree and yes they are close

Huh I never considered it but the director loved the colors from the clay and sand.

I have not done a movie yet that required a boat to go boom...... I imagine the clean-up would be tough!

You should have come down to New Orleans to shoot Deja Vu. There were a bunch of booms on a real river ferry, but they were cleverly done (as movie special effects tend to be) and the boat was cleaned up and back in service 4 days later!

That was a good movie, with Denzel Washngton, Great special effects!
