Member passed away

I found out about this a couple weeks ago, and posted it in the BOC, but thought maybe posting it here would be a good idea as well.

Ron Foster, rondi here, lost his battle with cancer on May 7, 2009. Truly a loss to the boating world, and immeasurable loss to his wife Diane and his children.

I am new here, I am so very sorry, stay strong and keep your eyes open, you will see how he still affects your life in a positive way, obviously he loved boating, keep his love of that !
I lost my second son on april 16thof this year, but I have seen negative things turned positive time and again since then !

Oh . .. that is a major bummer He was from close by here and I took a liking to his upbeat attitude. We boated in some similar spots too although I never met him. I think he was a fairly a young guy if I guessed correctly from his posts and pics . . . what a shame!

I have read his posts on two different boards, he really seemed like one of the good guys, he did have a very good nature about him. He was known as rondiweb on the other board. My thoughts and prayers to his family, may he rest in peace.

Sad news indeed but he lives on in the hearts of those who loved or knew him. Sympathy to family and friends. And may his prop spin freely evermore.

Rondi was sure jazzed with his boat, it would alway's make me smile with his adventures..and enthusiam. i really liked his winsheild or screen he put together..Extending Peace and kindness to his family

darn bummer. rip Rondi. seems like just the other day i was reading about how his bayliner was working out just like he wanted with his custom windshield and all.
