1988 15hp johnson Throttle cam plate

Can you pro mechanics out there help me out with this. I found this thing broken and was wondering how to replace it. It looks like it may just snap in place but not sure.

Just in case there may be some confusion the part im talking about opens the throttle to wide open when you twist the throttle. Its a small plastic piece with a screw on the left side. Sorry about the desciption im not very good at explaing this stuff.

Looks like the whole top end has to come apart. the cam has 2 pins molded in and sandwiches between the base and next plate up.

I was hopeing I would not have to do that, guess im lazy. Is part number 0396740 correct/ Hard to tell from the diagram?

Yes that is the throttle cam 0396740
