Working on the windshield wipers yesterday. To get both motors to park in the center, one needed to have the park cam changed. Following the directions, I pull the motor end of the wiper motor apart, remove the park cam and re-install 180*. These are little parts, and packed in tight, so it takes a bit to remove and install without breaking anything. But I get it done and install motor and test, yep its reversed!
Then I decide to change the wipe angle from 80* to 110*. Take motor off and this time, turn instruction sheet over to the angle change side, and open the gear box end of the wiper motor. I locate the linkage, and reconnect to the 110* location. As I read on it states, "changing the wipe angle will automatically reverse the park location".
Grrrrrr. Open motor end of assembly and put the cam back in the original location.
Sometimes ya just can't win.
