I purchased a pair of SX9510-80 Smart Tabs from Nauticus in the late Summer/ earlyFall of 2008 via Master Card. I have been sooooo pleased with their operation, quicker planing, better trottle response, bow down and maybe, just a little better fuel economy. Pleased that is until my 20' Wellcraft started listing to starboard underway and began making extremely sharp right turns yesterday (Friday). I found the problem just a few moments ago!!!! The starboard shock has NO resistance...it just made a squishing sound like a kid with a mouth full of Coke. (And I have them set on the second to lightest hole!!) The boot, as well as the oroginal ty-wraps, is still in place, no apparent impact damage and no obivious leakage of any kind.
I was reading your home page and re-read the five year/ two year warranty. Can you folks please help me out !?!?!?!?!
I contacted John at Nauticus, and, after verification of purchase, he sent me an exact, but functioning actuator via UPS in just two days !!!
This is the kind of product support that more businesses should exercise.
I am now exceptionaly pleased with Smart Tabs...thank you John.
