Which Outdrive? Volvo

I don't know anything about Volvo. Which outdrives for the V8. I am looking for a donor boat or out drives but don't know what fits what Also I was told that alot of them can be changed to the daul prop. True? Will be going on a 4800# boat. Thanks

What ever doner boat you find, that is the engine and drive combination you will use. No, you can't use a 4 cylinder or a 6 cyl drive for a V8. And no, not all drives fit all transom shields and engines.

Also I was told that alot of them can be changed to the daul prop.

Yes, it will work with SOME drives, not all.

Thanks Don! Like I said I don't Know Sqwat about Volvo, But am doing research. There numbers are forgien to me. Have had Mercruiser in the past. Just Know I ain't putting the OMC. back in when I finish the Transom/stringer job!
