50:1, that's 50 parts 87 octane gasoline to 1 part TCW3 certified oil.
1/3 cup per gallon, one pint per six gallons, one gallon oil to 50 gallons gas.
Never start the engine without supplying water to the lower unit, it only takes a few seconds dry running to damage the water pump impeller.
If you don't know the age of the impeller, or if it's more than 2 years, it's due for replacement.
