Hello everyone, I'm hoping someone can help.
This is a multiple part questions:
1 - What is the difference between a marine fuel pump for the Mercruiser 120 and the same fuel pump in an automotive application?
2 - Does anyone have the automotive part number for that fuel pump or know what vehicle it could be cross referenced to?
3 - Would there be any harm is using the automotive version of said fuel pump? (considering the marine version is over 3 times more expensive?)

Thank you for your input!

They are designed to NOT leak fuel into the bilge if parts in the pump itself fail.

2 - Does anyone have the automotive part number for that fuel pump or know what vehicle it could be cross referenced to?

Do NOT use automotive fuel and ignition system parts.

3 - Would there be any harm is using the automotive version of said fuel pump? (considering the marine version is over 3 times more expensive?)

Explained above
