Johnson 150 hard to idle and start

I have 1998 Johnson 150 that is hard starting and idle especially after it sits after running . shuts off after coming off plane to idle and also dies when shifting from idle in gear. has compression around 115 , got good fire, changed primer bulb because it seems to go loose and also took out check valve at tank or anti syphon. The only problem I see is bulb is hard to pump up after running . Pumps up good on cold engine

sounds like carb rebuild time.

What is a linc and sinc and how do I perform it, hopefully I can do this before I tackle the carbs
