n00b intro - light question

Howdy all,

Reffered here by "jeff in PA" :hi: who frequents a corvette board i am on.

Just bought a 96 glastron ssv 175 (with only 81 hours on her:D). Everything is in great shape, save for some gear lube seals in the drive i just had to have replaced.

now the question. I need the stern light. Went to academy to buy one, but all they had was the poles with the 3 hole/pin configuration. My receptacle is not that type, more like 2 blades for teh connection. It is an Attwood 3600 series, so it is stamped under the cover.

I have searched and am coming up with nothing. I really need to know what to buy and where to buy it. Am heading out in teh boat on thursday and will need to have one shipped in ASAP.

TIA. Looking forward to learning from the gurus around here:cheers:

Welcome , glad to see you made it over here. Tons of good info and good people here.

I picked up a complete replacement ( stern light & mount ) at Cabela's for around $30.

Jeff

Never worry about being a Noobe when it comes to boating...worry about not staying a noobe. to Boat is to learn from each and every voyage the rest of one's days.
