Re: bayliner

Who is "they"?

Ok, all sarcasm aside. . .first, there is nothing inherently wrong with a Bayliner hull. They have always made sharp-looking boats with a nice all-around design. However, they were also mass-produced and marketed to entry-level boaters. So, on the used market, you are more likely to find a Bayliner that was not properly maintained. This has nothing to do with the boat, more to do with the owner.

Second, a Force outboard was (WAS) a nice engine in its day. The problem is, the company no longer exists, and parts are getting very very scarce.

There's the Reader's Digest version. . .do a simple search, and you'll find volumes on both of these topics.
