Just Noticed !!!!

I became a Vice Admiral earlier today and Fathers Day to boot !!!!
All is well even though the wind did not drop enough or change direction enough to go boating !!!......that is till about a half hour ago. Too late to go boating now though. We all went for brunch earlier to celebrate Fathers day and have all spent the rest of the time so far in the pool. Just a quick pause right now while we prepare to BBQ.
At least I can have a beer or 2 if the boat is staying in the driveway.
Hope all you fathers have a great day. I have even if the boat did stay on dry land !!!!

Weird how the weather can vary, it's been calm as a clam all day here, and I'm about an hour or so's drive nw of you. Maybe has something to do with your proximity to St. Clair.

Being on the south shores of Lake St Clair always means that if we get a north wind the southern part of the lake gets somewhat choppy. A south or west wind and all is well. East is O.K. depending on how strong. Today the wind changed to south west at around 4:30 ish and our end of the lake is now like a mill pond. Unfortunately too late for everyone to get some boating in. We have postponed it till next weekend (weather permitting) and hopefully the water will warm up a little more for us all tubing and skiing.
