I have a 2009 Hoosier pontoon trailer. I cannot find a spec for lug nut torque. The manual says to check to make sure they are tight, but does not give a spec.

What would be a safe spec to use?

Re: Lug Nut Torque

I use 80 ft-lbs for 1/2" lug nuts and 140 ft-lbs for 9/16" lug nuts.

The 1/2" lug studs on my pontoon trailer are imprinted with 85-95 ft lbs

Top lug stud is easiest to read.
