1963 stamas information?????????

Hi all,

We purchased a project boat that we could learn the basics with and go fishing/crusing in. Problem is we can't find out any info on it. We have searched thru google, yahoo etc with no luck.
We have a 1963 Stamas 15'ft. Not sure what the model is, title shows as unknown. We do know that now only makes yachts. their website offers a very vague history.
We are trying to find out any info we can about the boat. I have emailed the company but never received a reply.

Can anyone offer any help as to where we could look?

Welcome to iboats

1963 was a long time ago in boating. Finding anyone who would know that information is probably near impossible. Have you tried Fiber Classics?

I looked over at the classic boathouse under fiberglass boats and also did a quick look at fiberglassics. I would say give us a little more info and some pics and maybe we will get lucky . Also knowing what its made out of might help.

It is a fiberglass hull, closed bow. I was able to make out the word TROY on the hull tag but not sure if that would be the model name or not.
It was made in tarpon springs fl.
15' ft with 71" beam.

I am new and havent heard of those website, but I will certainly look into them. I added a pic of the boat as my avatar and will upload a larger pic when i get a chance, probably this weekend.

The windshield obviously is not the original. I am guessing it was added by the last owner.

I live accross the street from stamas in tarpon springs, they are closed...though looks like not sold yet...once in awhile i see a boat come out, but the over 100 people who use to work there are gone.
