just wondering what the fuel consumption average is for these motors, mine seems to be going through a little much fuel, but then again I don't know. It doesn't seem to run rich, it is actually running spectacularly, yet I wonder if its a little high on fuel use......I have used 5 gallons in 9-10 hours use over three trips to the lake, motor has mostly idled/went at a slow running pace, with the exception of the times when the motor ran at full throttle to get to the fishing holes. The boat is a 16 foot aluminum 1957 Lonestar skipper, it seems pretty efficient through the water. So anyone let me know there thoughts........
