converting 15hp johnson from tiller to remote

I have controls and steering on my 1981 boat that were for a 60hp motor, I want to setup my 15hp to run off the same controls (our lake is limited to 15hp)

The 60hp motor is off the boat so my conversion is just for my 1999 15hp 2 stroke -

I think I need these parts

kit 175820
tilt tube for steering

Has anyone else gone through this conversion - any tips or ideas would be appreciated.

depending on the model, the 15 has the tilt tube.
