Hello All,
This is my first post. I have a 14ft fiberglass boat with an old motor. I have been having problems with it- it doesn't have enough RPMs to level out the boat...the bow is up in the air all the time and it looks funny. The motor looks to be an old Johnson Seahors 30 hp...I can't get the engine to rev up enough- the throttle control has 3 settings- Slow, Start, and Fast. When I push it to fast, it doesn't speed up very much. I am thinking about just scrapping it or selling the whole deal, but I figured I should try and get a manual for the motor first (cause it could be a simple problem). I can't seem to find the year of the motor, but I did manage to find a plate with the model and serial number; can anybody tell me what year the motor is?

I ran a search on google, but no luck..also the johnson homepage redirected me to Evinrude...then to get a manual you have to enter a username and passoword to access the site...??
