volvo penta exhaust port angle???

Hi All, I have an 89 sunrunner with a volvo penta AQ131d/275. I just bought it a few weeks ago, and took it out on the lake for the first time today. It started up and ran great, but was pulling to the port side. The faster we went, the harder it pulled. I had noticed before taking it out that the exhaust port is angled to the port side as well and wondered if it should be angled like that. That's my first idea as to why the boat would drive like this... Any ideas???

That exhaust port is the adjustment to fix your problem.

Ayuh,... Try adjusting it,+ see if it Helps,....
If you get no Joy,... Try another Prop....

Prop torque causing your pulling.

Not sure if your drive has one but, isn't there also a way to adjust the trim fin?

Well, I adjusted the exhaust port and it runs pretty straight now. I'm still surprised at how much of an angle it has to be at though. If you're looking straight at the back of the outdrive, the exhaust port looks like it's angled to the port side about 50-60 degrees. Is that normal?
