R or RL? RL long?

I would have to go to the shop to be sure, but I think it is rope start, long shaft.

There is an explanation of the model number codes HERE at least from 1980 onwards.

In that series R= rope start and L= longshaft when following the Hp.

when there is no letter designating a shaft length it is a standard shaft model
