I just acquired a 1983 Sunrunner - am looking to find a cover, but do not know where to find the model # - it is not on any of the paperwork I have. I do have the vin # - is there a way to find it through that?
Welcome to the iboats.com forum. The experts here, which I am not, can help you solve any boating-related problem. You might be able to find a model number in the NADA database by matching your boat's physical dimensions, style and equipment with the listings they have at the link below:
USCG maintains a database of Manufacturers' Identification Codes (MIC) which is the first three digits of your boat's HIN number. However, that only identifies the manufacturer and does not contain any model info. Good luck!
