I can find Keepnitreels log for anything!!! This removing the cap is worring me!! Please tell me there is an easier way. I have 95% of the fiberglass off of the decking, But Im sure to replace the stringers if they are bad you will have to remove the cap huh?

I found Him! He is doing some nice extensive work. His cap is a lot smaller that mine. My boat is at least 4 feet higher. I will lok into his forums for more info tho. Thanks

I had to take the cap off of mine. It was quite a job, but worth it in the long run. Now I have a brand new 37 year old boat!
