Stupid mistake

I let my boat drift up against some submerged rocks and it took some good size chunks out of the gelcoat (down to the fiberglass) along the edge of the strake. Is there a product out there to fix this easily or is it going to be a major repair?

yes this stuff and its cheap put marine tex, let me know how you make out.

Be careful to do it right the first time. This stuff bonds so well that, if you remove it after it's cured, you'll be removing more material than you put on in the first place.

scrub the area down with acetone and let it dry before applying
