I have a 1977 15' Terry fiberglass bass boat. It is a tri hull design, but it is not that apparent. The V has a pretty steep rake to it with an almost flat bottom. It has a 77 Evinrude 70 hp engine on it. I am not sure of the prop it has on it now as it has no markings indicating such. It is a little boogered up, but has been fixed before (more than once).
I want to get a little more speed out of it, it pulls very strong and reached top speed very quickly. I didn't get a chance to play with the trim as the trim motor messed up yesterday and I was unable to trim it out. Anyhoo, the motor was turning 6000 rpm at WOT. I was carrying an additional 200 pounds more than usual (fat buddy).
Can anybody suggest the right prop for me? I want to stick with aluminum because the lakes I frequent are filled with trees and it is much cheaper.
