I have a evinrude Fastwin, While going down the lake the motor began to race and would only run at no wake speed. Anytime you try to speed up the engine simply races. Also the servia number is 185025-e05009. I do not know the hp or have any engine information on it.

18502 is 65 18 hp fastwin evinrude.you have a blown shear-pin on the prop.

Could be a spun prop hub. The hub is a rubber dampener between the prop blades and hub. Mark the blade part and the nut that holds on the blade with a permanent marker so the marks line up. Run it and see if they still line up afterwards. If they do not, you most likely have a spun hub which can usually be repaired. Rick
