carb help for 86 15hp evinrude

I'm in the process of doing a carb kit when I discovered a couple of problems. First the top of my carb has a piece cracked and I was wondering where to get a replacement, it is the black hard plastic part on the opposite side of the float side. The other issue is the likely carb problem I'm having, there is a little hose inside the carb that connects inside the float and it was in two pieces. I can't find where to buy it or what it is called. This little motor is testing my patience. Thanks in advance for your assistance.

i have done several of those carbs, and do not remember any hose inside the bowl area. a picture of you carb would help, especially the plastic piece. the only plastic in can remember is the Cam follower and the air silencer.

I'm a dork it is a 89 my boat is 86. I found the part it is the breather tube, and I believe it comes in the 89 carb kit just not the 86 that I ordered from iboats, I'm such a rookie.
the other part is the carb cover and it looks like I can get one from evinrude, not cheap, but that is boating.
