Power Trim won't Work

Hello Everyone.

I have seen a few postings on here about this but mine is slightly different so I thought I would start a new one.

This weekend my power trim went out. It worked fine in the water and then when I got it out on the trailer and tried moving it a little bit nothing. Now when I try to go up or down nothing will happen. I do not even hear a noise coming from the motor.

I am sure it is probably an electrical problem, but since I am new to this stuff any advice would be helpful.

We would all love to help, it`s just that we don`t know what you have for a trim unit.Go to the adults section and rear the "Read me first" sticky

Ayuh,.... Different,..?? Same Answer,..
Get a Multimeter,+ Follow the Power... Probably a corroded wiring end...

Sorry I don't have the info on what trim unit it is. I told you I was new to this

I will try and figure that out when I get home. In the meantime I guess the best option is to follow the wiring back and see if it is that right?

Ayuh,... The Shake & Wiggle Test just might point you to the Problem,...
