Hello-
I'm New To The Forums And Hope Someone Can Answer My Question. I Have A 1981 Sea King 15hp Model Vwb 52118 And It Starts, And Idles Good, But When In Gear And I Twist The Throttle At About 2000 Rpm's It Bogs Down. I Turn The Throttle Back And It Runs Fine. I Pulled The Fuel Pump Diaphragm Out And It Has No Tears In It But Is Is Quite Wrinkled. Is It Worn Out And Do I Need To Replace It???

Re: Fuel Pump Diaphragm Condition

Hi,

I would replac it. I always thought they were weak to start with.
You could have some ddirt in the high speed sys of your carb too. The carb transitions beween 1800 and 2200 rpm.
