Hello,
I just got a steal of a deal, $1200 for a 17' Fiberglass Bass Wrangling beast machine with this big motor. I am ready to get on the water, just need to know what the gas/oil mix is. Im guessing 50:1 but just making sure. The guy had the manual but it was flooded in a basement so i can only read the cover to the manual without it falling apart in my hands. I appreciate any help or any general tips anyone can provide.

Also, what kind of oil should i get?

Thanks!
Jordon

2 cycle / 4 cycle rather

Two cycle outboard engines (like yours) require two cycle oil! TCW3 rated for outboards, don't try to run the stuff for weed eaters.... Walmart has it in gallon jugs for cheap...

If you decide to try four cycle oil, well let's hope you have an electric trolling motor that works....

Two cycle / Four cycle and Two stroke / Four stroke are one in the same...
