Need Wire Instructions for Sierra 185749 Amplifier

Hello,

I purchased a Sierra Aplifier for an 85hp Evinrude but it did not come with a guide for what color wires go where. There are a purple, gray, blue and black wires. The black with the plug I'm all set with it is the others that do not match the OEM colors. Your help would be appreciated. Thank you, Mitch

Purple connects to a strip terminal screw that has 12 volts applied to it, BUT ONLY 12 volts when the key is in the ON or START position.

The Gray wire connects to a empty strip terminal screw is is the lead for a tachometer sensor. If you use a tachometer, the corresponding tachometer gray wire would connect top that terminal.

The Blue wire connects to the terminal strip screw that leads to the coil primary wire.

Black is ground.
