1985 seaswirl transom repair advice

hi guys,
I have cut out my rot it goes about 1/2 down the center and approx 2' across Im wanting to use marine plywood since I feel thats the right way to do it. how do you tie the new plywood to the excisiting to restore strength to hold the motor here are some pictures any adive would be great quick learner and skilled carpenter.

You don't. You have to remove all the existing wood and replace it with a whole new piece.

so laminate plywood together and put bolts threw it then install a whole new piece then re glass
