I have a 135 hp fitch 2003 I have been trouble shooting the engine because a no oil light comes on.replace oil pick up pump, primer ball ,looked for leaks, step by step as solec manual describes. But can't find no where how much oil pressure should be.. My pressure swith operates in the range of 50 to 53 psi. My system is producing 38psi at idle. Any insight will help thanks.

Hey, William, how many threads are you going to start on the same topic ... I count three already. Slow down, buddy, we don't get paid big bucks to answer questions here! See other thread for your answer.

not totaly sure what you mean by oil pressure, your motor is a 2 stroke fuel/oil injected, the oil is "lifted" to the motor and injected into the motor, but in a different place to the fuel, not too sure where you are measuring "oil pressure"

AH, that is not a pressure switch as such, it is a sensor and does not measure pressure as such, it is fairly common for these sensors to go bad, much more common that an oil fault, you need to be able to find out (from your genuine manual) how to properly test it for your model, reproduce the fault and test it, or just buy a new one if they are not too expensive, but blindly throwing a bag of parts at anything is an expensive way to trouble shoot.
