This does not have the controls hooked up yet. I am starting it up with a jumper wire and hand on throttle assembly. I have had it started a couple of times but now it refuses to start. Thought I might be flooding it but plugs are pretty dry and I am not really smelling gas. Can anyone point me to the choke ?

There is no choke. There is a primer solenoid which is electrically or manually actuated.

Yeah, I have been playing with that, changed the plugs and still no go. I am going to look at filter and electric at pump next. If nothing there then check pump and I was going to rebuild carbs anyways.

If you are not getting wet plugs when you are cranking it then maybe you should be pointed towards the carbs.

I am going to change the filter because it is the easiest thing to do (although it is 20 miles in the wrong direction to get one).

So you would first rebuild the carbs and if she doesn't run then, you start testing the pump ? I want to learn how to rebuild carbs but at the same time have been avoiding it. I got two kits. Just don't know a good float/needle from a bad one but I will ask you guys when I get to that part.

The fuel pump, I need to buy or borrow gauges to test vacuum and pressure. I believe there may be one tool that does both. Harbor Freight here I come.
