This is a photo of a boat i build when i was 20. Not the boat in the photo but one just like it. It was fun and my first boat.I found it in a web sight of boat designs. Cool as i never took any photos of it.

Sharp looking boat!

She is grinning because she told him to install those navigation lights. He is sulking because now he has a citation for not having them......:D

Jay your right a Glen-L design and its called Stiletto

Blu Lunch i cant give you a year as its still available as a kit but i built mine in 1984 and i think it was available back in the 50s. That,s what drew to it the first place.

The boat was fun as even with a 40 horse on the back it still kicked butt out on the water.

Good looking boat. I always liked the Stiletto. I built a Glen-L boat, but the Stiletto was a bit too ambitious for me. I built a TNT instead. It's still downstairs in the garage - never seen water. Here's a not-so-good pic of what I think is a Glen-L that the owner calls his Home Depot Special. Everything he used to build it, including the paint, he got at Home Depot.

Appears that he got the Sharpie marker to draw on his registration numbers from Home Depot also. :D

And what's with that poor lass in the chair next to the boat? Doesn't she realize how happy she should be to be there?

I helped build a Glen-L plan like the above. We had a 12 h.p. on it and it go fast enough to scare the bejezes out of you.
