I am looking for a voltage gauge for a 2000 Bayliner Capri. Searches coming up short? Do I have to order this gauge from a dealer?

Dave, I assume you mean Faria gauges. They are avail at many places, including WestMarine/BoatUS and lots of places on the web. There are several styles, so match 'em up.

Re: Can someone point me in the right direction? Fario Voltage Gauge

I replaced the volt gauge on my 2000 Bayliner Trophy 2052 earlier this year. My Trophy came with Faria gauges. I thought that any Faria gauge would work but that is not the case. I could not find the exact replacement so I ordered a Faria that looked the closest. The studs on the back of the new gauge were bigger around than the ones on my Trophy and would not fit the connection from my stock wiring. I called Faria and they told me that US Marine specifies what size studs for their connectors. They also told me they could repair my old gauge for $15. Hope this helps.

I'm in the process of replacing my Faria volt meter gauge under warranty for $15. Lifetime warranty. Go to their website and complete the online form. Send the gauge and $15 and they'll send you a new (same style as the one sent to them). I understand that it takes about 6 weeks +/-.
