I have a Proline 20 c/c with a teleflex steering system. There is a lot of play in the steering. It makes it hard to control the boat in rough water. Does anyone have any ideas on how to take up slack? thanks!!!

with a 120..chances are its Teleflex cable...in front of the motor theres a steel bar connected to an arm..cant you see that move when you turn the wheel?...buddy,your not making this easy for us.we need information or pictures, were not magicians.

Re: slop in steering

the craft is a 1982, the slop is not at the motor, it is at the wheel, under the dash.
