Going to make an anchor pulpit to store the anchor, chain and line on. Don't want to make it bigger than I need, and most I see are huge used on large cruisers. I want to make a small one for the front of the Bayliner.
Your pics will show me how to make the shape of the front and roller. Plan is to glue up two layers of 1/2" ply, cover with glass and roll on gel coat. I don't want to make it any larger than it needs to be, probably only extending a foot or so past the bow.
The pulpit is really just a way to store the anchor so I don't have to carry it through the opening windshield with me when I want to anchor. I've done it a few times, and its just very cumbersome.
