Re: ethenol

I Just Had The Carbs Rebuilt, Have A New Tank And New Supply Line To Motor,so Will Adding 2plus4 Conditioner Counteract The Ethanol Problem?

Re: ethenol

There seems to be little doubt that Ethanol is eating fuel lines and fuel pump components depositing residue in carbs and injectors. BRP has gone to the trouble of manufacturing replacement VRO pistons from a new material to combat this and newer motors have fuel lines and parts that are supposed to be Ethanol immune. Stabil has a new product, Stabil Marine, which is supposed to combat the effects of Ethanol. I have switched to this new product and hope that that will be enough.
