Does any one know where I can a remanufactered VRO/OMS pump for a 2000 70hr Johnson

DFI, they will rebuild yours. You will have to search to find there site.

This thread is confusing me. Yes...even with just two posts...
Why would you go to DFI for a rebuilt OMS pump. This is the old common 5007420 OMS pump...nothing special...not Ficht related at all....
I thought DFI did Ficht work....

You can get a new 5007420 pump ($400.00), or you can get a non-oiling pump and pre-mix your gas P/N 5007422 (300.00), or you can get the individual kits, to rebuild your own pump. Prices are estimates.

I am sorry, I don't have the P/Ns for the individual kits, air motor side, fuel pump side, but they have been posted on this site many times before.
It is dead simple to do, by the way.

Is it your intent to buy one rebuilt (and guaranteed) with these kits so that you will not have to do it yourself?
Is that the idea?

Because they rebuildt VRO pumps, 90.00 price was at one time with the same upgraded parts.

Real simple, poster, wants a rebuildt pump, probley does not want to spend 400.00. Probley does not know how DIF.

Just went to www.dfitechnologies.com looking for the product/service of rebuilding OMS/VRO pumps, but it was not there.
Must be an unadvertised service....
They are closed today, so I think I will call them tomorrow to see how much the current charges are for this rebuild.

I swear I thought they only dealt in Ficht stuff...that's why I was confused a bit.

They may not do this service now. I have pump from them for 1992 70hp.

Well, DFI will not answer the phone, so I sent an e-mail requesting current prices.
They have an automated e-mail responder that sends out a fixed price list. The fixed list did not have any references to VRO/OMS rebuilds...

They don't want to be bothered I guess.
