If that ramp happens to be at the Jones Creek Recreation Park on Isle of Wight Rd it is just about filled in with mud now. I drive right by it every day.
You can still get some boats in and out at high tide but that is about it. There is no current flowing in there so when the water goes in the silt settles to the bottom and over the years it has just about filled in and won't be long before no one can use it. The county is not going to try to clean it out because in another 30 years or so it will just fill in again. That hole was made when I95 was built, they got fill dirt from there then cut the path to the river and the county put in a boat ramp.
all of the Georgia members are more than welcome to attend the Florida get together, in 2010. if interest, chime in here, could effect where we meet. http://forums.iboats.com/showthread.php?t=316813
