Picked up a can of Seafoam and did the decarb in the driveway on muffs. Used about 8 oz of Seafoam in 1/4 gal of gas and ran almost the whole thing through, then let set for half an hour. Started it up and ran the remainder through. Then switched to regular mix. Compression did not change much, maybe 3 psi tops. It did smoke a bit, but not as much as expected. The spark plugs did come out nice and clean though! Added the remaining 8 oz to the main fuel tank.

Will have it in the water tomorrow and I'll see if it runs nicer under load.

It takes a good run after decarbing to blow out the loosen carbon. Let us know how it goes Mark.

Mark, on another note ,I've been keeping up with your top you built and installed,IT LOOK'S GREAT. You should be very proud of the end result ,as the workmanship is outstanding, and the boat looks fantastic.Just wanted to let you know that I think you knocked a grand slam on the project. Keep up the good work and please post other such projects for everyone else to admire and enjoy. MOPARMAN

Thanks Moparman! I really do appreciate your comments. I enjoy sharing my work. Especially things most people think you can't do in your own garage. The top took much longer than I expected, but now that its in use, we find its was well worth the time and expense.
