i am looking for the cowling and have been quoted over 600 for this item. I keep checking ebay. If anyone could help with this it would be wonderful.

Call these guys. I spoke with them early last week and they have a 70 hp nissan with a bad lower unit (the part I need) anyway I assume the have the cowling and may be able to ship it to you. Good luck !!!

does does 70 hp fit on a 60hp?

From what I understand they are the exact same. I will verfiy.

Ok. I spoke with the expert. Here are the models that will work

Nissan
ns70a, ns60a, ns55b, ns50c

Tohatsu substitute the ns for m.

Did you find the part you needed ? I may have found one it's a 1988 70 hp nissan which should fit. Let me know.
