My Nissan 9.8 shakes when idle the tiller handle was normally still now it shakes.

Cleaned the carburetor with the same problem. Replaced the gasoline with non ethanol. I was having problem with black fibers inside carburetor may be gasolin was melting rubber because of ethanol. Its starts normally now just shake more in idle.

Sounds like you still have a carb issue. Check idle RPM with a good tachometer. Make sure the carb base gasket doesn't leak. There is still a possibility that you need to re-clean the rest of the junk out of the carb.

The Nissan fuel system should handle 10% ethanol no problem. If it did not, you may want to have a dealer check into replacing fuel system parts (as needed) under warranty.

After 20 hours, it would be a good idea to check valve tappet clearances. That should not affect idle, but will reduce top end if too loose.

The black residue is the inside of the primer bulb and hoses,REPLACE the fuel line assembly.

I have a suzuki fuelfilter/waterseperator I noticed that I am getting a minor leak around the filter I wonder if it is damaged and the black fibers are coming out of the filter (oring) everything is tight. Do I have to close the vent tight of the filter? Do you release the vent of the gas tank when boat is park? May be to much pressure

Thanks

There should be Zero leaks in the fuel line and associated filters, etc. Get the separator working right. How did you determine the leak at the water separator? Is the separator on the pressure side of the primer bulb? If a fuel line component (primer bulb, etc) is shedding its internals (causing the black fibers), replace it, as it will continue to feed junk into the fuel stream.
