Stamped prop numbers mean what?

I am looking at a prop on Ebay and the only thing the seller possibly knows is that the prop came off of a Sea Ray and it was maybe a Mercrusier. He states it may be aluminum as a magnet didn't stick to it and its black. What he does have are these numbers stamped on prop: 5953 and then 48-78120-19. I assume that the 19 means pitch. Is there a site that I could enter these numbers into to see what engine it is for or do any of you know how to read these numbers?

The -19 number is the Mercury part number and is (or was) a 19 pitch. The other number is most likely a number that was stamped on it at a prop shop when it was rebuilt or rehubbed. If it was rebuilt it may or may not perform like it did when new.

Just keep in mind a new aluminum 14 1/4 x 19 is only 114.95 so this one had better be real cheap.

It's $20.00 right now and has been refurbished. Looks good for the price. Thanks for the info.
