I have a 2003 Baja Outlaw and manual says it has an inline filter but can't find it. This is a Alpha drive and owners manual says there is a canister style inline fuel filter. I'm not talking about the water/fuel seperator

Do you have the engine manual for your boat? I'm not sure yours is the same as mine, but check the manual. Mine is on the lower front left of the engine (facing from the front). It has the "cool fuel" module on it. If yours is the same, you have something like this:
http://www.mercruiserparts.com/Show...12840&bnbr=70&bdesc=Fuel+Supply+Module(Bravo)
You need parts #21 and #26 (26 should have an o-ring with it). You should not need the whole filter canister as some mechanics will tell you. Again, check for your manual in the "Adults Only" section at the top of the engine forum

What manual are you looking at?
Are you referring to the waterseperating fuel filter? If so, it's just in front of the front starboard motor mount shown here.

If you have a boost pump and a Bravo drive, you may also have an inline filter somewhere in the line between the engine and the fuel tank. Which could be mounted anywhere. Just follow the line.
Here is the OEM servce manual. Look at page 1B-60

Did you download the manual I gave you a link to, and look at page 1B-60?
